I attempt to witness historical events, expose injustice and communicate the complexities of social issues to wide audiences. My preferred formats are long narratives, essays and explanatory journalism via various platforms. I hold a BA in Political Science from ITAM and a MS degree in journalism from Columbia University.
Read my book about the trial against Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán: a first-person narrative and essay where I take readers to the trial as I highlight the shortcoming of the war on drugs.
Check out the project I created: Democracy Fighters, a living archive that aggregates the work of journalists killed in Mexico.
